It took us 2 years to realize what we had in mind all the time: to design a collab together,Jopke from jopkedesigns and I. But if you might know us: we are always busy, so it had to be a good theme where we could work on. So finally this year we thought of a wonderful idea. We found out both love movies and so we chose some of them and watched them on DVD to see which one we really really liked. So we were overwhelmed by inspiration. And then we decided and adopted PS. I have some new and great items to show you. They’re not a real full collection, but they have the same style. I am planning to make more of these, because I can see they are very easy to combine with another set, kit, collection. And they have one thing in common: the mindfulness. When I became familiar with this way of life, learned what it was and how it worked, I felt totally liberated from the stress I knew. Now my lif is probably as hectic as yours, but I learned to focus on the essentials, learned how to enjoy things more and get out of the rush and demands of every day’s life. Now I heard that Cape Cod was covered just recently under a thick pack of snow. But this is my vision of the things that come to my mind when I think about capes and islands like this. I love the way the seagulls scream, the wind blows through your hair, the lighthouses and cottages, the dunes and the little boats floating on the water. The harbours where you can eat lobster or read a good book on a terrace with a lovely woolen blanket covering your lap. I love the idea of sitting on a jetty, hanging my bare feet towards the water, just looking at the bouy nearby or find the most beatiful shells on the beach. So that’s why I’m in love.

Winter days… when you wake up, open the curtains and find out that the whole world is white… Birds are eating from that self made peanut chain, little animals that hop through the garden or in the woods while you are playing hide and seek behind the trees. You wonder if the ice on the pond is already strong enough to skate on it. Or if the slay will come along this time.

Winter days is a collection I made think of those pleasures I can still remember clearly from when I was young. But since I am from Europe, I remember other birds and animals that you will probably know when you are living in America or somewhere else. So I hope that you will recognize some of them

I have made a new collection a week ago. It’s been a strange idea that I didn’t show it here earlier, but I have some troubles with the site, so… sorry for that… Blooming Paradise is a collection I made inspired by the beauty of craft, nature and people from central Asia and Himalayan states. I loved what I saw more and more when I searched for information for this collection. I hope this collection is reason enough for you to get inspired as well, for this collection is really fantstic for those of you who has children or grandchildren. However, this is far from only a children’s collection: I integrated brushes and clusters and borders that can easily be used for other purposes (e.g. nature, people, festivities and other events) as well.
