I totally forgot to tell you about my latest kit Blooming Desert here! This kit is made from the 3rd prize winning idea by Monica, who wanted me to make a kit in the style of the Southwest USA desert. That was lots of fun. Coming from a sea climate with enough rain and not extremely hot it would be difficult to design in that sphere if I had never been there. But I have been there! It has been decades ago, when my HB Harry (at that time just my boyfriend) went to a business school in Phoenix Arizona to get his masters degree. I had just finished my fashion academy and with working on a lot of jobs I was able to buy my own ticket and just before Christmas I was there. Now my aunt and uncle lived in the Monterey Bay area in California, so we crossed a lot of the desert when we visited them at Christmas.

So now you know why I picked this wonderful idea. Monica told me about the many colors, like mauve, sage, yellow, orange, in the desert and that many people didn’t know that.  Well, I did!
