A blue Christmas @ Studio Berna

Just in time to decide the color to use for your camera lenses or the clothes you are going to wear. Ladies, do your last minute shopping in BLUE! Please do! I have this wonderful kit for you to make the best Christmas layouts EVER :)

Now I could tell a lot about this collection, but fact is: it’s all blue. Okay, and white. I was inspired by the delft blue old tiles which we see often here in old houses and some restaurants. I also love angels, and reindeer or deer, birds, glitter, Christmas tree balls etc.  And so this year I made my Christmas collection with all kind of favorites. Btw. you might not like it, but my personal favorite color is not blue, LOL! Though I like every color and I think this color is great for Christmas, and for all people, my personal favorite is orange. Don’t laugh! I mean it. Guest designer @ Digital Scrapbooking Studio ~The Studio

One of the most lovely collabs I worked on lately, is the Winter Folk. I designed it together with Christine Mortimer from Digilicious and Aimee Harrison from Aimee Harrison designs. I loved the colors, but I most of all loved what I learned from this unique combination of designers. It was a real pleasure to design with them! But, being a huge fan of the Twilight films, I can also imagine you listen to the movie sounds belonging to that series. And, have you even heard the wonderful Nocturne piano music from Chopin. Here’s what I mean:

October Potpourri

October Potpourri is a collab from 3 Scrapbook Graphic designers, Studio Manu, Studio Em-Ka, and Studio Berna
October Potpourri celebrates the crisp days of Autumn, colourful, vibrant and alive with change we pull on our cozy sweaters to enjoy beautiful nature hikes, take the family on a hayride, pick pumpkins or harvest veggies at the farm. Yet those chilly, blustery days can also keep us snug in our flannels with a hot cup of cocoa, curled up with a good book or our favorite handicraft. Read the rest of this entry »

BeachComber & Freebie

New @ Studio Berna: BeachComber a HOT SUMMER collection.

One of my favorite days… early in the morning I raise and prepare for a wonderful day at the beach. Yes, to get a little sun tan, but most of all to enjoy all the things I like to do: collecting sea shells, walk on the pier to see if there are little crabs crawling on the black stones, and to play a little soccer game with my kids and HB. We eat a seafood salad, drink a little something and dive into the cool and clear water. Read the rest of this entry »
